Linking from HeadCase

Preamble

HeadCase provides a number of ways to link Mind Map elements to other content, including hyper-linking to further HeadCase Mind Maps and links to Microsoft Office documents, HTML and other web pages, images and so on. Linked images can be incorporated into outlines exported from HeadCase.

Developer's Notes

• Make links and footnotes simple child items in the normal list to facilitate multiple linkages.
• Add "CanGoBack?" and "CanGoForward?" to navigation interface: use them instead of position and count to update buttons.
• Add correct shortcuts using Alt-<- and Alt-->.
• Try to suppress excess paints on navigation.
• Perhaps cache metafile during navigation.
